Wajax Announces Appointment of Chief People Officer
Newly created position to drive Wajax’s efforts in growth, people, and culture
Toronto, Ontario (February 6, 2023) – Wajax is excited to announce the appointment of Mark Edgar as Chief People Officer effective January 23, 2023.
Mark brings over 25 years of human resources management experience to Wajax, and previously served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Royal Sun Alliance Canada, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of RSA’s people strategy, including talent management, engagement, rewards and employee communications. Prior to that, Mark served as Head of Human Resources – Corporate for Centrica plc (the parent company of British Gas), and Head of Human Resources – Customer Group for British Sky Broadcasting plc (now Sky plc). Mark also co-founded “future foHRward”, a platform for the human resources community focused on leading-edge content, events and thought leadership. Most recently, Mark has provided human resources consulting services focused on helping organizations and individuals thrive in the new world of work.
