Keeping the Wind in the Sails of Canada’s Renewable Energy
Over the last 30 years or so, there has been significant investment in wind power in Canada, with wind farms seen in each of the ten provinces. It’s a sector that has expanded rapidly, and in turn some products get released into the market quickly, requiring updates while fairly new. Like when wind farms across the country reported the failure of their 1.5MW wind turbine generators. Wajax engineered a retrofit to upgrade the original designs and get over 400 wind turbines back in action.

Small Hydro Turbine Generator Overhaul
Suitable for local community/industry developments for the creation of hydroelectric power, small hydro generates power from the movement of water. For a North American client who provides regulated electricity, water & natural gas to over 1 million customers, Wajax provides what we call water to wire services. From water to wire references our capabilities in the small hydro sector as we service everything from turbines up the shaft to the output wires, including the generators and components.
