WAJAX ACQUIRES BETA FLUID POWER AND BETA INDUSTRIAL

Toronto, Ontario – September 1, 2023 – Wajax Corporation (“Wajax” or the Corporation”) today announced that it has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario-based Beta Fluid Power Ltd. (“Beta Fluid”) and Beta Industrial Ltd. (“Beta Industrial”). Beta Fluid is a leading regional supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for use in the industrial, mining and construction sectors. It also offers hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance, repair and replacement services, including mobile services. Beta Industrial provides a wide range of on-site facility repair and maintenance services to local and regional customers. Together Beta Fluid and Beta Industrial employ a team of approximately forty-two full-time employees.

“Since 1997, the Beta team has developed a reputation for dependability and excellent customer service, and we are very pleased to welcome them to the growing Wajax family,” said Iggy Domagalski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wajax. Newly created position to drive Wajax’s efforts in growth, people, and culture

Toronto, Ontario (February 6, 2023) – Wajax is excited to announce the appointment of Mark Edgar as Chief People Officer effective January 23, 2023.

Mark brings over 25 years of human resources management experience to Wajax, and previously served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Royal Sun Alliance Canada, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of RSA’s people strategy, including talent management, engagement, rewards and employee communications. Prior to that, Mark served as Head of Human Resources – Corporate for Centrica plc (the parent company of British Gas), and Head of Human Resources – Customer Group for British Sky Broadcasting plc (now Sky plc). Mark also co-founded “future foHRward”, a platform for the human resources community focused on leading-edge content, events and thought leadership. Most recently, Mark has provided human resources consulting services focused on helping organizations and individuals thrive in the new world of work.
