MAFI Goosenecks for Tractors

A MAFI gooseneck hitch for tractors is used to move roll/cargo trailers, usually with a standard fifth wheel coupling or with a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter. A detachable gooseneck can be mounted on the tractor as needed, or fixed versions are built into a fixed gooseneck trailer. A detachable gooseneck is selected after deciding the fifth wheel load of the tractor. MAFI’s Model SH 36 gooseneck is rated at 36,000 kg and the Model SH 45 is 45,000 kg. These maximum load capacities allow gooseneck trailer weight limits of over 200 tons. The nose of the gooseneck trailer hitch is inserted into the coupling tunnel on the trailer and locks automatically when it’s lifted, ensuring safe transport. When moving a gooseneck trailer with tractors, always consider the gooseneck trailer swing clearance. To park the gooseneck, MAFI has a specially designed park box available. The gooseneck can be safely stored when it’s not needed, freeing the tractor for other tasks.
