The drill jumbo carriers are designed specifically for limestone mines and efficient drilling of headings as large as 50-60 ft. wide and 35 ft. high in one set up.

These self contained, diesel hydraulic jumbo drills provide the flexibility required to handle face, bench and roof bolt drilling requirements. Both models carry all fuel and pelletizing water necessary to operate a full 10 hour shift without service.

  • All operator controls for drilling and tramming are either pilot operated of 24vdc solenoid controlled, minimizing the noise and heat generated in the cab.

  • Flushing air is provided by an onboard direct drive screw air compressor with 150 psi output for better hole cleaning and more efficient drilling.
  • Engine compartment covers are hinged and are easily opened for improved maintenance access.
  • Engine radiator and hydraulic/air compressor coolers are remote mounted at the back of the machine and swing open for complete access for cleaning
  • Complete machine design and component location to maximize serviceability.

Fletcher model J101-AD/E is a diesel tram, electric drill jumbo for narrow vein mining applications in headings up to 22m². The rig is nimble in tight quarters with proportional control on tram and boom functions. Drilling efficiency is optimized with direct acting anti-jam circuit and a variety of rockdrills for various rock conditions.

J151 DE single boom jumbo is designed for development and production drilling in headings from 10 ft. by 10 ft. (3m by 3m) up to 24 ft. wide by 21 ft. high (7.3 m high by 6.4m wide) in one carrier set up.

J152 DE dual boom jumbo is designed for development and production drilling in headings up to 28 ft. wide by 21ft. high (8.5 m high by 6.4 m wide) in one carrier set up.

Diesel tramming with electric hydraulic drilling insures cost effective drilling and fast heading to heading moves. The compact, articulated design allows the jumbo to tram and setup in tight headings, circular ramps or crosscuts.

The Fletcher Model N3114-AD/E roof bolter is designed for bolting in stope conditions as narrow as 6.5’ (2 m). Drilling, resin insertion, and bolting is all done from the MSHA canopy operator’s basket that is mounted on a boom that lifts and swings to allow multiple installations.

N3120-AD/E man basket roof bolter is designed for installing commonly used roof bolts in the back or either rib, in headings from 8 ft. 10 in. (2.69 m) wide to 17 ft. 6 in. (5.33 m) wide and up to 18 ft. 10 in. (5.74 m) high. In difficult ground conditions, protective canopies over the carrier operators’ platform and man basket allow the operator to install bolts from safe, protected positions.

The Fletcher Model N3016-AD/E roof bolter is designed for bolting in narrow heading conditions, as small as 10’ x 10’ headings. Once the bolt carousel is loaded, drilling, resin insertion, and bolting are all performed from the operator’s deck. Boom lifts, swings, and extends to allow multiple installations from one chassis position.

Fletcher Model N3020-AD roof bolter has a narrow articulating chassis, diesel power, and can bolt in headings from 3mx3m to 4mx4m.

Enclosed filtered cabs can be fitted on all Fletcher Metal/Non-Metal equipment, providing a cleaner and more quiet working environment.

The Maxiprofile is a composite gasket which utilizes a serrated metal core with a soft facing material. The metal core is machined on each contact face with concentric serrations providing high pressure areas and ensuring that the soft coating flows into any imperfections in the flange even at relatively low bolt loads. The result is a gasket which combines the benefits of soft, compressible cut materials with the advantage of seal integrity associated with metallic gaskets.

Expanded graphite is the most common facing material used for Maxiprofile gaskets, however, other materials can be used, such as PTFE for chemically aggressive applications or mica for high temperature situations.
